Peder Jacobson is the Principal Attorney and founder of Jacobson Estate Law, PLLC.
Peder specializes in estate planning, guided by a philosophy that prioritizes simplicity and transparency. He is committed to creating straightforward, effective estate plans tailored to each client's unique goals and circumstances, ensuring an open and informative experience throughout the process.
Peder earned his Juris Doctor degree, graduating Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2013. He also holds an undergraduate degree in physics and mathematics from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
In addition to being a licensed attorney, Peder has passed the Series 7 and Series 66 examinations, making him a licensed securities professional. His knowledge of financial planning, IRAs, Roth IRAs, 529 plans, trust funding, and the like, allows him to integrate estate planning seamlessly with his clients' broader financial strategies.
Before founding Jacobson Estate Law, Peder was a partner at Christensen, Fonder, Dardi & Herbert, PLLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and previously served as an attorney at IBM in Rochester, Minnesota.
Outside the office, Peder is passionate about fitness, playing the violin, barbecue, and fishing. He also loves to spend time with his family—his wife Stephanie and their children, William and Evelyn.
